Writer's Block Start/Finish Your Work Project and Here You Begin Workshops
Our Writer's Block and Project workshop opportunities, as well as concurrent Here You Begin mini-workshops, are offered in far-flung destinations that give you a reason to travel, time to be, and time to work on your own voice and soul-expression.
Rejuvenate and re-inspire your writer self with the experience of living in Paris, attending writing sessions along with plenty of time to live the life of the writer you've dreamed to be.
You will stay with other attendees (no more than 10) in a lovely accommodation, with morning writing workshops and feedback on your work (or reasons for not working in the case of the Writer's Block workshop), followed by afternoons free for writing in cafes, exploring museums, cathedrals, parks. There is even time for sitting at the top of the Musée D'Orsay or along the Pont des Arts, overlooking the city and the Seine, searching for inspiration in the light reflecting off the water. Two 4 day workshops are offered in 2016, each with potential addition of a Here You Begin mini-workshop to get you started living the life you've dreamed.
Experience the city led by an award-winning writer and Editor who know every corner and every great cafe to help you live like the writer you've envisioned becoming.
Combine time to write with time to play in the beautiful wilds of the Rockies. Well, almost wilds: bears and lattés do go together in the mountain valleys in Summer.
You will stay with other attendees (no more than 10) at a beautiful guest ranch among snowy peaks, sparkling stars and clear, fresh air, with morning writing workshops and feedback on your work (or reasons for not working in the case of the Writer's Block workshop) followed by afternoons free for writing in your cabin or lodge room, or mountain meadows.
Walking, hiking, and being in Nature and working on a project you love will give your spirit the chance to rejuvenate and your muse the space to sing. Hot-tubs and quiet evenings will nurture your soul and maybe your life if you bring along your partner. One half-week workshop is offered with potential addition of a Here You Begin mini-workshop at the beginning (and an extra day to spend at the ranch!) to get you started exploring and living the life you've intended.
Please see more information on the Rocky Mountain details page.
The new old world of Prague, Czech Republic, offers a writer and seeker the most beautiful city in Europe to explore and the newness of an culture previously hidden behind the Iron Curtain.
Here, you will stay in an ancient monestary overlooking the Old Town, with walking to the historic sites out the door as well as a large royal park and orchard for the quiet needed for reflection. As with the other venues, morning writing workshops and feedback on your work (or reasons for not working in the case of the Writer's Block workshop) followed by afternoons free for writing in cafés or parks, exploring museums and arts. Two half-week workshops, with an optional Here You Begin mini-workshop (1-day) in the middle are offered, so you may take the rest of the week for more exploration. You may sign up for any or all three, and have a reason to spend time as a writer in one of the most beautiful places in Europe.
